(Inspection) – Within the framework of the event announcing the latest Vietnamese translation of the GRI Standards, LPF FUND and its international partners announced several important cooperation programs to promote the green finance ecosystem, support Vietnamese businesses in accessing ESG standards and international capital sources.
Representatives from LPF FUND and Golden Gate BCE Group (Netherlands – Singapore – Vietnam) officially signed a memorandum of cooperation agreement.
On July 29th, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) officially announced the latest Vietnamese translation of the GRI Standards, including the Universal Standards, Sector Standards, and Topic Standards.
According to GRI, thanks to easier access to the world’s most widely used sustainable development reporting standards, businesses in Vietnam will be able to identify, manage, and disclose their most significant impacts on the economy, environment, and people.
GRI’s programs in Vietnam are supporting organizations, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), through training, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing. Along with the new Vietnamese translation, these activities will help organizations assess industry-specific impacts, strengthen value chain resilience, and meet the expectations of international markets and sustainable finance providers.
Within the framework of the event, LPF FUND and Golden Gate BCE Group (Netherlands – Singapore – Vietnam) signed a formal cooperation agreement, aiming to mobilize approximately 210 million EUR to implement priority projects in the fields of sustainable agriculture, logistics, deep processing, and circular economy in Vietnam.
According to the agreement, LPF FUND will act as the focal point in Vietnam for developing project portfolios, standardizing investment dossiers according to ESG and GRI standards, managing investment programs, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and providing regular reports to investors.
Meanwhile, Golden Gate BCE Group is responsible for connecting with international financial institutions, arranging funding, providing Green Bond and Blended Finance consulting, and promoting investment for each specific project.

Representatives from LPF FUND and Golden Gate BCE Group signed a formal cooperation agreement, aiming to connect international green capital for sustainable development projects in Vietnam.
Both sides also agreed to prioritize the implementation of 10 strategic projects, notably the Vietnam Cocoa Industry Logistics Project, the Cocoa and Chocolate Logistics Complex in Dak Lak, and projects developing raw material areas, carbon credits, forest conservation, and the circular economy.
The cooperation framework is built on the principles of transparency, compliance with Vietnamese law and international standards, aiming to build trust with investors and expand access to high-quality capital flows.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Huynh Quoc Khanh, CEO of LPF FUND, stated that sustainable development is no longer an option but has become an essential requirement for businesses in the context of green transformation and increasingly stringent investment standards. According to him, GRI Standards are becoming a “common language” that helps businesses communicate with investors, financial institutions, and international markets.
Mr. Khanh highly appreciated the role of GRI, international partners, and Golden Gate BCE Group in bringing sustainable development reporting standards closer to Vietnamese businesses, while expanding access to funding sources such as Green Bond, Climate Finance, and Blended Finance. He believes that when projects are standardized according to ESG and GRI, opportunities to mobilize international capital will become more feasible and effective.
Representatives from LPF FUND also affirmed that ESG is not only a set of criteria for evaluating businesses but also a foundation for building trust with investors, mobilizing long-term capital flows, and bringing Vietnam’s sustainable development projects to the international market.
In the coming period, LPF FUND will continue to collaborate with domestic and international partners to promote the application of GRI Standards in the construction, management, and financing of key projects, especially in the fields of sustainable agriculture, green logistics, circular economy, and emission reduction.
